Modular Ashtray System
This project centered around designing a multifunctional, modern ashtray that balances minimalist aesthetics with high utility for a variety of smoking preferences. The form embraces clean lines and a refined silhouette, while the functionality caters to both casual users and enthusiasts.
Top Attachments
The top tray features multiple grooves to securely hold pre-rolls or cigarettes, while still allowing space to ash without obstruction. A key innovation lies in its modularity—the top components are magnetically attached and easily swappable, allowing users to replace the standard tray with a specialized nail attachment designed for clearing bowl pieces from bongs.
Base Tray
The base of the ashtray is also thoughtfully engineered. It’s fully removable and acts as discrete storage, capable of holding multiple lighters (ideal for collectors), up to three bowl pieces, and a pre-roll case (size dependent). This enhances the product’s value as a desktop or lounge accessory that keeps essentials organized and accessible.
Ashtray Made Personal
Customization is a core part of the design. Users can choose from a variety of materials—metal, marble, or recycled plastics—and access thousands of color combinations to match their personal style or interior aesthetic. The result is a versatile, sustainable, and highly personal product that elevates the typical smoking accessory into a functional lifestyle piece.
